Had a terrible overall experience with this pharmacy - I had to buy a private prescription of isotretinoin which is an expensive medication and the prices vary a lot - my derm told me Tesco was quite cheap so I called ahead and tried to check the price and the lady on the phone said it would be £10.00 - I knew this was wrong so I questioned it and she said ‘I can make it more expensive if you like’ in a very dismissive way…. Okay babe - I guess I’ll come all the way across town for that price. Lo and behold, I get there and it’s much more expensive - I’m not shocked because I know the medication is expensive and I haven’t spoken to any other pharmacies so I just pay the price. The next time I need to buy the medication I don’t bother calling around because it seems like a waste of time given the first attempt and I just go back to Tesco - the price had gone up a lot but I pay anyway because I need the meds there and then. I then look around at other places when I get home and I find that I can get it for pretty much half the price elsewhere - I had only picked up the first month as they didn’t have the other two in, so I decide to get a refund on the remaining two months but it turned into the most inconvenient saga as they firstly couldn't refund me on Apple Pay (even though that’s what I payed for it on) then weren’t open the two following Sundays I tried to go in (when they were due to be open). When I finally got the refund I then had to go back to my derm to get a new prescription for those two months - that was its whole other saga which could have been avoided as well. The staff were generally nice enough (apart from the initial woman on the phone) but it’s a bit of a mess of an operation and I feel super put off by how ridiculously overpriced the medication was. So, I won’t be going back and I’d advise anyone with private prescriptions to go elsewhere because they don’t offer competitive prices and they don’t give accurate price checks over the phone. I’ve wasted a lot of money and time by going to this pharmacy which is why I’ve gone out of my way to leave a bad review - normally I wouldn’t be arsed.

Drove 25 minutes to the Parmacy, arrived there for 19.35, website says closes at 20.00, was told that they couldn't dispense my prescription as it was too late to pick it. If you are stopping dispensing at 19.30 why not state that clearly on your website then I wouldn't waste an hour of my life driving there

Myself and another lady arrived before 8pm closing time. Both for antibiotics from out of hours. She was told to drive to Andover I was completely ignored. Closing time is closing time, if there's a prescription cut off it should state clearly and doctors should be informed. I'm immune suppressed so a delay in my treatment can be serious
