Easy to book online or call. Friendly staff who really place your child at ease and explain the process and options available to your needs. Great value and choice of frames.

From the moment I arrived I felt welcome. Met at the door by the manager who took my name, and directed me up to the eye test department. Once upstairs check-in was swift and easy, and I was asked to take a seat. Within minutes I was starting my eye test. Each step was explained fully to me, and it felt like care was taken at every step. My tests were done with clean, up to date equipment, and in between sections of the test the staff always sought to see I was ok.

The care and service I received during my recent visits to your Rugby store were outstanding. Everyone I encountered at your branch was extremely helpful, but I wanted to give special recognition to Paige, the optician who looked after me. Paige conducted a comprehensive examination and took the time to explain everything to me in great detail. I was quite anxious about my results, and Paige’s lovely nature and clear explanation of what the field vision test entailed made a world of difference. Her professionalism, patience, and reassurance turned a stressful situation into a very positive experience. Please pass along my sincere thanks to Paige, and the 3 ladies who assisted, for their exceptional care. Sadly I did not take a note of their names. They are a credit to your store.

Very poor service at Specsavers on 8/05. I was 11 minutes late due to traffic and was told they only allow a 10‑minute window. Fair enough, though the receptionist could easily have accommodated me. I then tried to order replacement glasses for my 11‑year‑old, who has lost hers and has no spare. Instead of helping, I was told I must book another eye test appointment. When I insisted on ordering the replacement, I was passed between staff who gave incorrect and inconsistent information. One staff member first claimed my child’s last eye test was in 2024, then changed it to 2nd May 2025 when I questioned it. I was then told they “can’t” order glasses due to “governance council rules,” but no one could explain what rule this is or where it’s written. Additionally they added that because the last eye test was a year ago therefore they cannot order the glasses. I would like Specsavers to provide the actual policy that says a child cannot have replacement glasses ordered unless they have another eye test and the "governance council rules" that supports this.

Very good experience in Rugby store. Efficient test, glasses selection and collection. Clear explanation of test results and helpful assistance on glasses.
