I went onto the Specsavers ( The Areana store) and spoke to a very helpful young lady and asked if I could have a new hearing tube, the young lady gave me a seat and then went to see the Audiologist (Mariam) who then fixed in 2 new hearing tubes and gave me some batteries.
I would like to say how extreamly helpful & kind and professional these ladies were. A Credit to Specsavers Brilliant service, well done both & the Biggest Thankyou 🙂.

I visited Specsavers Arena Coventry today because my glasses are causing double vision, and I wanted advice on how to resolve the issue.
The manager, Dee, informed me that because the glasses were outside the 100-day warranty, there was nothing they could do to help. I was disappointed that no alternative solutions or guidance were offered, particularly as these glasses are only six months old and the issue was attributed to a change in prescription.
While I was speaking to someone else to explain the situation, Dee interrupted and said, "It is you (the patient) that gives the optometrist the prescription; the optometrist doesn’t give you the prescription.”
As someone who holds a degree in Optometry, I found this comment both factually incorrect and concerning. I would be interested to know how the General Optical Council would view a licensed optical store providing this kind of misinformation to patients while also suggesting that their own clinicians do not carry out a sufficiently thorough assessment.
The way I was spoken to felt dismissive and patronising, and I left feeling belittled rather than supported. This is not the standard of professionalism or patient care I would expect from a company with Specsavers’ reputation. It was obvious that the manager has little or no experience in communicating professionally to paying customers.
Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling that customer care was secondary to warranty policies and commercial considerations, rather than a genuine effort to help resolve a vision issue.

Worst shop EVER!!!!!!! Don’t go here, save your money and your time. They are constantly booking multiple appointments that they can’t cater for because they only want to make profit they do not give the slightest care about the patient. Appointments are booked every 15 mins when in reality the average wait time is around 1 hr. They practically force the 2 for 1 offer on you just to make extra money by forcing extra unnecessary add ons . Don’t fall for it there after your money . Go for standard always no add ons and pocket your money.
