  Family recreation centre but barely any family parking spaces. In the middle of a heatwave and they have the patio doors wide open. Where’s the AC?!

  Having worked extensively in customer service and luxury client experience, I can honestly say that Lisa delivered the most impressive club tour I have ever experienced. From the moment she approached me, Lisa’s calm, relaxed, and genuine manner immediately put me at ease. There was no pressure, no scripted sales approach, and no feeling of being rushed. Instead, she created an environment where I felt comfortable, welcomed, and genuinely listened to. What stood out most was her ability to build an authentic connection. Her eye contact was natural and engaging, and it was clear she was genuinely interested in understanding my needs rather than simply selling a membership. By sharing aspects of her own experiences and family life, she created a conversation that felt more like a meet up with a friend rather than a sales presentation. The tour itself was exceptional. Lisa missed nothing. Her attention to detail was outstanding, and she quickly identified the areas that would be most relevant to me personally. As a marathon runner, I was particularly impressed that she immediately highlighted recovery and performance facilities, including a roller machine I had never seen before. She also recognised my interest in wellness, recovery, and biohacking, taking the time to explain the sauna facilities and other health-focused amenities without me needing to prompt her. I believe she has a remarkable ability to read people and guide them towards the facilities and services that will interest them most. What makes Lisa exceptional is that she is genuinely interested in people. She listens, observes, and tailors the entire experience around the individual in front of her. That level of customer care is rare and deserves recognition. As for the club itself, it is spectacular. The facilities, atmosphere, and attention to member experience are outstanding. Having experienced other premium gym brands, I can confidently say that David Lloyd operates on a completely different level. If you’re considering joining, you won’t be disappointed. A huge thank you to Lisa for such a memorable and professional experience. The gym also has an incredibly positive and friendly atmosphere, which was evident throughout my visit. What surprised me most was that as I was leaving, despite the gym being packed with members, the club manager greeted me by name. It didn’t feel staged or forced in any way… just natural, relaxed, and genuinely personable. The fact that she was able to remember my name in such a busy environment speaks volumes about the culture of the club and the level of care shown to members and prospective members alike.

  The cleanliness of the place is going down hill. Spa rooms always closed. Lessons always not available or reduced. Parking is horrendous. What’s worst is I always hear people having their personal belongings being stolen, watches, wallets and car keys! Cancellation notice given.
