- BKBen KingApr 19, 20263.0I joined this gym, mainly, because of the time it opened in a morning ( not many gyms in Preston are open at 6am ) and the location. The free weights area is decent but can feel very crowded if there are more than a few people in there. Some of the equipment is very limited, and basic, the tehnogym weight machines in particular are not maintained at all, pins are rusty and seats are loose. I know it's a low cost gym, but looking after the equipment is just basic maintenance. The music for the classes on weekdays is played so ridiculously loud, you can't hear yourself think, and on three occasions now, I've had the very awkward experience of having the cleaner walk into the changing rooms as I'm getting changed. Surely it would be wise for the changing rooms to could be cleaned before the gym opens?
