  We recently hosted a pool party for our twin boys, and I honestly couldn’t recommend this place more highly! From the very beginning, the booking process was smooth and stress-free. Communication was excellent — we received quick responses and clear, helpful explanations to all our questions. The staff were incredibly friendly, supportive, and well-organized, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The facility itself is spotless and very well maintained, which gave us great peace of mind. Everything was set up perfectly, allowing us to relax and actually enjoy the celebration. Most importantly, the children had an absolutely amazing time — it truly was one of the best parties we’ve had. Seeing their smiles and excitement made it all worthwhile. Thank you once again for such a fantastic experience. We are extremely pleased and would highly recommend this venue to anyone planning a birthday party!

  We had a great time at Ongar leisure centre during the family inflatable fun swim which we attended with a small group of children for my son’s 10th birthday. The staff were helpful and supportive with the booking process advising on best value for money. The parking was easy, changing rooms were clean and spacious and pool side staff were kind and efficient. The lifeguards were really great supporting one of our guests who needed minor first aid. Everyone had a great time and we would really recommend the leisure centres fun swim to others.

  Signed up to Ongar Leisure Centre, had a wonderful welcome / introduction done by Kelly and Samantha. The leisure centre has a lovely atmosphere. It’s clean, pool doesn’t have too much chlorine and had a great lane set up. Highly recommended.

  Gym could be considered as a youth club before 7pm. Gym has been overrun with large amounts of teenage boys who stand around the weight equipment chatting. This makes the small space inaccessible to anyone else. This could be improved by limiting the amount of kids allowed in the adult space. As an adult paying the adult membership fee, now I cannot go and enjoy myself as the kids are prioritized. Moreover, in other gyms female only hours are utilized so that women feel comfortable using weight equipment. Wish this gym would adopt this. Giving stars as the Staff are very friendly and the equipment is clean.
