The refurbishment was much needed and has improved things, but it doesn’t make up for the lifts that are constantly going out of service, the unhygienic women’s showers, or the gaggles of small children that run rampant screaming on the weekends. It’s a shame there is no Third Space in Kensington.

- SSs8Feb 28, 20261.0The short and bald trainer with glasses has serious issues when it comes to waiting for a machine. I offered for him to work in with me and even conversed that I do take 3-4 minute rest times between sets. He scoffed that it’s too much and he needs the machine for his client so if I can finish fast. The other machine opened up a set later so he came to it but he had to come and make another remark about me taking a nap on the machine. I told him he can use the machine with me, I even explained how long I’d take, the only other thing you can offer someone like this is to give them what they want before they throw a fit. His attitude was horrible, and things escalated from there on. Management didn’t do anything about it. Apart from my experience, very limited machines, terrible technogym machine variety and to top it all off, lack of cleanliness. Please avoid this place at all costs.
