  Great place to swim and work out. The staff are always friendly and efficient, the whole centre is clean and tidy, and the prices are very reasonable. The pools are brilliant for all ages. A good place to have on tour doorstep

  I joined Leiston Leisure Centre to use the swimming pool and steam room facilities. As a member for just 4 weeks, I am rather disappointed, to say the least. The disgusting state of the changing areas and health suite raises serious health and safety concerns. The toilets are so filthy I wouldn’t even use them. Talking to other members, several have complained about regularly getting colds, coughs and other minor illnesses, which they attribute to the lack of cleanliness. Given the amount of use the facilities get, the centre should be deep cleaned every night. Furthermore, in the past 4 weeks I have only been able to use the steam room once, as it has been out of order most of that time. Considering this is one of the advertised facilities, this is very frustrating. It should not take that long to fix a broken part. The staff are young and often appear nonchalant, as if they are doing you a favour by being there. On one occasion I observed the lifeguard asleep on duty, which was concerning given the responsibility of supervising the pool. All in all this has been a very disappointing experience for £35 a month. Unless standards improve, I will be cancelling my membership and moving to a private pool.

  Joined the leisure centre and went for a sauna the a swim in a very large pooll Then went into the steam room. They also have a gymnasium. Plenty of on site free parking
