I’ve been a member for over a decade , the club is the best it’s ever been , the new padel courts are superb , I use the club for tennis , crèche , soft play , a “wfh” office , swimming , gym and sauna … which makes it incredible value for money .. the staff and management continually go above and beyond , could not rate higher 10/10 every visit

David Lloyd Leeds has become almost a second home to me and a place I visit most everyday as I heal into a new life after falling desperately poorly .I love the energy within the place ,it’s always buzzing and it’s so lovely to be around so many different people whom are making efforts in their lives too .The staff are friendly and accommodating and keep this huge place going each day .The facilities are great and I can train in the gym ,practice yoga ,swim ,visit the spa and relax or even work upstairs ,which I have done for over a year now .I am also a member of the Bussiness club ,where I have come to connect with members on a different level and it’s a very beneficial and positive experience each month . I have been a member at David Lloyd Leeds for a very long time. It’s shocking they gave 1 week notice today (19/5/26) of closing the squash courts ! Before this I was told by a senior manager here that they will give adequate notice before they scrap the squash courts and they did not keep their word! Not only this - over past 2 years I saw no maintenance of the squash courts ! Absolutely no response to repeated requests to repair floor of the squash courts .. this is no way to treat customers.. the owners are not after improving sport .. club is overcrowded and parking is a nightmare at peak times ..

Repeated issues with 10 year old boys going in the ladies changing rooms despite family changing rooms being available. Reported it multiple times but still happens most weeks after kids swimming. multiple reports of this to reception. It’s a safeguarding risk when young girls are getting changed and stared at by boys that should be in the men’s or family changing area. Outrageous lack of concern over squash courts and other facilities. They have ran the facilities into the ground and failed to support squash at the club for a number of years and are now getting rid of the courts with less than 2 weeks notice. All this despite charging £300 a month. Would recommend go elsewhere.

I recently had my introductory session at David Lloyd Leeds and was genuinely impressed. The club is very easy to access, right on the ring road in North Leeds, with a huge car park, which makes getting there straightforward. Once inside, it is clear this is far more than just a gym. The facilities are excellent: indoor and outdoor tennis courts, padel courts, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a fully equipped gym with weights and cardio machines, a wide range of studio classes, a brilliant spa area with saunas, steam rooms and a large jacuzzi, plus a restaurant and really useful workspaces for anyone who works remotely or wants a change from working at home. The whole place feels very well run. Joining is simple through the app, and the follow-up was professional and friendly. Tom showed me around and was excellent: helpful, knowledgeable and not pushy at all. All the staff I met were friendly and professional. It is probably one of the more expensive gyms in Leeds, but I think the value depends entirely on how you use it. If you want access to tennis, padel, swimming, the spa, classes, the gym, somewhere to work and somewhere to eat, and you’re likely to go regularly, then it offers a huge amount for the money. If you only want a basic weights gym, there are cheaper options elsewhere. But for anyone looking for a full health club with proper facilities, this is a very impressive place.
