  We only go for the roller disco, but it's a really good one. Car park always has spaces, and is better priced than some.

  Good leisure centre, little pricy though and gym is a little clustered however a plethora of aerobic machines, weight machines could be updated/improved. Swimming and sauna services are great however.

  The gym was nice and big but the equipment was not well maintained and the weights were all over the place. The staff there did not seem on top of re-organising the weights. People left their weights on the bars and were quite untidy. I went to re join and the staff were unenthusiastic in obtaining my membership as they did not want to waiver the joining fee, even though I had cancelled as I was unable to use the gym for 3 months, due to oversea commitments. They put the price up pounds as well for 2026....not good value for money. Suggest looking elsewhere for better deal.

  I have been a regular user of this gym for a long time, but after a recent experience I feel it is important to highlight a serious concern. On 26/03/2026 at approximately 19:03, while I was still using a running machine, a member of staff switched the machine off without any warning. This caused me to lose balance and I almost fell, which could have resulted in a serious injury. Basic safety practice would require the machine to be allowed to slow down gradually or for the user to be given clear warning, however neither was done in this case. I had already advised staff I only needed one more minute, but this was ignored. What was more concerning was the staff member’s attitude. He appeared more focused on closing and leaving than ensuring member safety. When I raised the issue, the situation became confrontational and I was told it was “50/50”, which I strongly disagree with. This is not about a minor disagreement — this is a health and safety issue. No one should have equipment switched off while still using it. I have raised this formally with management and asked for the matter to be investigated, including reviewing CCTV. I hope this is taken seriously and that steps are put in place to ensure this does not happen again.
