  Unfortunately not satisfied at all as a family member. Loads of activities are not available for kids under 6years old. The DL clubs are honestly so boring and my daughter doesnt like to go. So as a mun I am totally stuck. Even if your child is under 8 years old is not allowed in kids pool by itself. This is so disappointing. So don’t waste your money if you are a mun. Thanks

  There is no parking!!!! Once the car park is full at 9am, you are sent to overflow. Then to the overflow of the overflow. And this could cause one to be late for their class. Or even miss a class. And should you dare not turn up for your class, David Lloyd club could penalise you by not allowing you access to book classes for 7 days. This morning, a lady was unable to get out of a parking space in the overflow. Cars had double parked. Cars had blocked the way. Another lady told me she used to attend Enfield but now attends Hatfield and had to be at the club by 8am to ensure a parking space even though the class she booked to attend started after 9:30am. This never used to be the case. There was always adequate parking. I have given feedback time and time again. No response. On trying to park for my child’s swimming lesson this evening, we both gave up and left as too much time had been wasted looking for a parking space, of which there were none. This was especially horrible and disheartening because it effects my child. The indoor small pool and jacuzzi have been removed. A lone adult was using the family changing facilities last week. Classes are filled quickly. There is just too many people using this one club and it is anxiety inducing when one approaches the roundabout only to find there is a queue of 10 cars waiting to enter the car park and 4 cars already at the barrier. I used to think that the car park was full because the barrier was broken. This is not true. Now the barrier works, there is still no parking. And it appears that if I don’t like it, I can limp it. As no one cares. Many more things annoy me about this gym. But the staff… they are lovely.

  Just joined David Lloyd Hatfield with my daughter and honestly the difference in atmosphere was felt the moment we walked through the doors. After visiting another David Lloyd club where we didn’t feel particularly welcomed, Hatfield was the complete opposite. Everyone was warm, friendly, approachable and genuinely helpful straight away, which instantly put us at ease. What makes this even more emotional for me personally is that years ago, after being diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour and told I may never walk properly again, David Lloyd was one of the places that helped me rebuild my strength and learn to walk again. Now, returning as a work from home mum running my platform, Influential Stars, I already know the business hub is going to become a huge part of my routine during the day, while also helping me focus on rebuilding my balance, coordination and confidence again. Most importantly though, it feels like somewhere my daughter and I can spend genuine quality time together and make positive memories. I genuinely cannot wait to spend more time here ♥️

  Joe was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. From the very first phone call through to the final payment, both myself and my partner felt completely looked after and genuinely valued throughout the entire experience. He took the time to fully understand our expectations, listened carefully to what we wanted, and adapted everything to suit our specific needs perfectly. What really stood out was his professionalism, friendly approach, and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure everything ran smoothly and comfortably for us. Nothing felt rushed or forced, and we appreciated how attentive and accommodating he was throughout. The whole experience exceeded our expectations, and it’s reassuring to deal with someone who genuinely cares about providing excellent service.   Extremely disappointing experience and very poor customer service. I joined based on being told I could cancel within 14 days if I wasn’t satisfied. I contacted the club on day 12, 13 and 14 to cancel – all messages were ignored. Only after the deadline passed did they respond saying I could no longer cancel. At the same time, before I asked to cancel, they were replying to me within minutes. The communication stopped the moment I tried to leave. I am now being asked to pay charges I strongly dispute, despite contacting them within the correct timeframe. On top of that, I am still waiting for a refund from the restaurant after waiting over an hour for a simple order and cancelling it. I was told the refund was processed – it wasn’t. What is most concerning is that the company publicly responds saying issues are “resolved”, when they are not. No proper contact, no refund, no resolution. This is not about the money anymore – it’s about how customers are treated and ignored. Very disappointing experience.
