The gym floor does not have air-conditioning system installed. It’s literally a steam room on the gym floor. Surely the temperature on the gym floor breaches health and safety. This has been reported to management many times over the last few years- no improvement at all. I carry my own fan to the gym but despite this it is really difficult to exercise in spring/summer. In winter- the steam from the pool rises causing steam too. Management placed ONE fan by the balcony door which is blowing hot air (since it’s 30 degrees outside). I end up avoiding strenuous exercises which is unfair. The heat affects my breathing. Avoid if you have asthma.

We had a very disappointing first impression, particularly on our membership day. The experience today felt disorganised and unprofessional from start to finish, with multiple issues that were not handled properly by staff. There was a lack of communication and poor service throughout. At one point, we ordered food at 2pm for the children, but were later told the kitchen had closed and only reopened again at 5pm. Kids were starving and we were asked to go eat somewhere and come back! On a busy bank holiday, a large sports club should ensure adequate food availability and supplies, especially when families and children are present. Unfortunately, the way customer complaints were handled made the situation worse. Staff appeared stressed and unapproachable, and instead of calmly resolving issues, the atmosphere felt tense and dismissive. At reception, concerns were not dealt with in a professional or respectful manner, and interactions escalated unnecessarily. Overall, this experience fell far below expectations for a premium membership club. Given the level of service received, we are seriously reconsidering continuing our membership, as it does not reflect value for money or the standards we expected.

Great new facilities, but the staff experience completely lets the gym down. In particular, Sheen at reception was extremely rude, unhelpful, and had a serious attitude problem throughout the interaction. His behaviour came across as deliberately difficult and unnecessarily confrontational. You would expect a “premium” gym to deliver a high standard of customer service, especially given the membership cost, but my experience was the complete opposite. Despite clearly understanding the situation, he purposely refused to give me a towel, which felt petty and intentionally unhelpful rather than customer-focused. Really disappointing experience overall and something I believe management should address

The rudest staff I’ve ever dealt with. Absolutely no customer service, no respect, and zero ability to handle issues professionally. The club allowed far more guests than it could accommodate, then had no food available to serve families — including 13 children who were left hungry for hours. When we simply asked if we could order food from outside, we were spoken to with arrogance and disrespect. This is supposed to be one of the most expensive clubs, yet the level of service was shocking. We have been members for over 20 years, and this was by far the worst experience we’ve had. If you don’t have the capacity to host visitors properly, don’t allow them in. At the very least, train your staff to treat paying members with basic respect. UPDATE: Your response changes nothing. The day was already ruined after waiting all bank holiday to enjoy time with our families by the pool. What made it even worse was the behaviour of your staff — especially the man claiming to be the manager, who had zero authority, flexibility, or problem-solving ability, and another staff member, a black-haired lady in her 50s, who was visibly angry, shouting, rolling her eyes, and arguing with multiple people while speaking to us aggressively and unprofessionally. Members pay a significant amount of money to enjoy this club with their families. We are customers, not people asking for charity. Learn how to speak to members with respect, because the attitude and arrogance shown by your staff were completely unacceptable. A horrible experience and an embarrassing standard of management for a large sports club.

We are very happy with the Crèche at the sports club. My son truly enjoys spending time there, and that says a lot! The staff are incredibly kind, caring, and attentive to every child. 💕 They create such a warm, safe, and positive atmosphere where children can learn, play, and develop with confidence. I especially appreciate how patient and friendly everyone is. He is always comes home happy and excited to share his day. It is wonderful to see how much care and love the team puts into their work every day. Thank you to all the amazing staff for your dedication and support. We are very grateful! ✨ One more thing I would love to mention — the Crèche team deserves much more recognition! They are never shown anywhere, but honestly, they deserve to be stars on social media) While parents are focusing on their health, training, and recovery, these wonderful caregivers look after our children with so much care, love, patience, and attention. They are truly women with big hearts, ❤️ and we are incredibly grateful for everything they do every single day. Their kindness and dedication make such a huge difference for both the children and the parents. Thank you for creating such a special and nurturing environment for our kids!
