First Ladies only evening at the Spa, throughly enjoyed it feel so relaxed, the staff were so friendly and it was good to try areas I haven’t been able to because they have been full of men and that can make it quite intimidating, I really hope these evenings continue as they will be my new Thursday night!

Very impressed with the new spa facilities and renovated gym. Introduction tour with Ella, the personal training session with Ryan Collins and the spa introduction tour with the spa in charge were helpful in getting to know the facilities better.

I visited on a guest past on Sunday 17th May 26 at around 2:30pm. Things that were quite frankly very disappointing for a club that has just spent a lot of money on revamping…
1. The family changing room is tiny and was so busy it was not a fun experience changing my two young kids.
2. The tables in the cafe family area were filthy, quite a few empty but with dirty glasses and food and liquid spilt with no-one around clearing them.
3. If you are gluten free avoid eating here. The menu only shows what’s Vegan or vegetarian no key for ANY other allergens. The staff ask you when taking your order if you have any allergies and I said yes I am gluten free. They advised me to check the allergen menu for gluten, which is a QR code. I started to look and it is a list of everything on their menu and the ingredients, no way to filter what allergen I wanted to avoid. Everything bar a burger had gluten in. I asked the lady on the till what I could eat and she went and asked another senior member of staff. She came and asked what would I like, I said a salad of some kind. She went and asked the kitchen and all the salads have gluten in. There was no offer of anything being made gluten free. At this point I decided to leave and we went and had a meal elsewhere.
I am really disappointed as I used to be a member so thought I would check out the new improved David Lloyd. I would not waste your money if you are a young family or have any allergens at all.

Been at this gym for just over a year now and it was the best decision I made joining.
With the £5m makeover being completed it has taken the entire gym to a whole new level. The equipment is too notch, the cleanliness and general upkeep is immaculate and the staff are lovely.
The overall experience at this David Lloyd is deffo a 5*. Super super excited for the new updated, upgraded and upscaled Platinum Spa

An excellent initial tour with Mia who was really friendly and helpful. First kick-start session with Sean was great and whilst I was apprehensive about this as a gym newbie, he soon put me at ease. The club staff are all very welcoming and the club has a very inclusive atmosphere. Changing rooms and showers are spotless and even when it is busy, there are plenty of showers and lockers. The food and drinks at the café are reasonably priced and delicious - all in all, a good decision to join!
