  I have been going to vision express in Fort Kinnaird for year, every eye test I done, I bought new pair for reading, long distance, and sun glasses, and always have care plan every time I bought frames, and have told because of the care plan vision express will fix, replace the frames if any problem so I did agreed to have care plan, but last week I went have my eye test, my sunglasses lenses pop out and my reading glasses scratch the can only sort 1 frame, and the woman who deal with me was being short at me, and told me she can’t change my frame or replace lenses as my care plan run out in June this year. I am so disappointed heading home, wearing the glasses with the lenses popping out and look horrible. I was going to buy new frames but she put me off buying anything new from that place again.

  I don't usually leave reviews but I'm quite upset about what happened here. I came for my NHS eye test and (even though I've never noticed any problem with my eyes) the result was -1.5 and -1 and I was suggested to buy glasses and contactlenses. The contactlenses arrived and I couldn't see properly, they said it takes time to adjust but after 30 minutes it was still the same, they checked with their instrument and with one eye I was seeing much worse than without. I was told the issue was the brand so they ordered new contactlenses. I went back again and this time they didn't want to retest my vision even when I told them I couldn't see any better I was actually seeing worse from close. I was told again it takes time and to leave them on for a few hours. I've done that and after 4 hours I realised I couldn't even read a magazine properly but as soon as I took them out my vision was perfect again. They said again that they were ordering new contactless but I wasn't really convinced anymore so I went somewhere else to get my vision tested again and was found -0.25 and -0.50!!! They even made me tried the -1.5 and -1.0 and it was (obviously) worse. I called vision express and told them I wanted to cancel the future visit after I went to a different place and found different results and they didn't even ask what results or try to explain me why the difference they just said "ok no worries I'll cancel the appointment". Really disappointed I don't know what is worse if the fact that they tried to make a sale on an issue that is not there? Or if that's not the case does it mean their instruments or skill are not up to standard? All this just to say be aware

  I have been with vision express for over 30 years in perth and laterlally first kinnaird. Two Saturdays in a row a wasted journey. First one because my lenses type for my contacts needed to change so couldnt my contact check. Second one, new trial lenses were incorrect so still couldn't do my check. To be told just leave it to 13th Feb as due my eye test then. In the meantime im stuck and received another unopened batch of lenses. Im a direct debit customer so I wear my lenses a lot. Not impressed. They were clearly trying to put my appointment off as a gentleman came in at same time for same check. I was asked to go and sit and Pablo would see to the gentleman first then me. This wasnt convenient as I was dropped off and was being collected. I dont usually complain but all our family are customers and they have had similar experiences so not sure what's going on but not a good customer experience.
