  I pay over £200 a month and have really had enough of this place. I dealt with a very rude receptionist today - was turned away as I was told my guest pass for my friend wouldn’t work, I had a badminton court already booked, I asked the receptionist if she could allow us in as she could see I had tried to book a guest pass, she absolutely refused to accommodate us and said the gym was too busy, even though it wasn’t and we didn’t even want to use the gym, we were using a pre-booked badminton court. She was rude and very unhelpful and is not the service I expect considering the amount I pay every month. The majority of receptionist staff are very unwelcoming and look down their noses at every one that walks in unless your in TOWIE, and good luck getting a parking space between the hours of 8-11am. If you want to pay top dollar to be made to feel inferior then this is the place for you!

  Diana showed exceptional service today and knowledge that she have about David Lloyds make me fell that this is definitely gonna be life changing experience. I cannot wait to start my membership especially getting into that amazing spa zone to improve my wellbeing and mental health. Thank you Diana and see you in Club soon

  *Review: Tai Chi with Leon at David Lloyd Chigwell* I’ve been attending Leon’s Tai Chi classes at David Lloyd Chigwell for 2 months, and it’s genuinely one of the best classes on the timetable. Leon is patient, clear, and really knows how to break down movements so everyone can follow, whether you’re a complete beginner or have some experience. He explains the purpose behind each movement, not just the steps, which makes it much more engaging and useful. The pace is calm but you still feel like you’ve worked through your body and mind by the end. What stands out is how he tailors things in class. If someone has a bad knee or limited mobility, he gives alternatives on the spot without making it a big deal. The atmosphere is relaxed, no pressure, and you leave feeling centred and less stiff than when you walked in. If you’re looking to improve balance, posture, and stress levels, I’d recommend giving Leon’s Tai Chi class a go. It’s a highlight of my week at David Lloyd Chigwell. Rating: 5/5

  Had a fantastic experience at David Lloyd’s today thanks to Alice. She gave me a brilliant tour of the club, was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and made everything feel relaxed and easy to understand. She took the time to answer all my questions and really went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. Excellent customer service and a real credit to the team — thank you, Alice!

  I joined David Lloyd Chigwell a few months ago and wanted to leave a review as I would never normally… but I feel I must tell you all how happy i am with my decision to join me and my family… it all started when I woke up that morning and realised I needed to do something about my wellbeing and David Lloyd was on my mind as I have been recommended from friends who are already members numerous times but I just didn’t want to take the leap and wow I am so happy I have 😍I want to say thank you to Ricki who showed me around the club and opened my eyes to how I would have the work life balance I have been craving for me and my family… the facilities and staff are exceptional with something for al of us… this has changed our worlds I just wanted to let you all know… do not hold back and join you will not regret it… thank you 🙏🏻
