- DMDylan Martintoday3.0David Lloyd Cardiff has great facilities overall, the staff are always friendly and helpful, and the padel courts are excellent. My main issue is the ventilation and air conditioning in the gym and changing rooms. Even when the club isn’t particularly busy, those areas often feel far too warm and stuffy, which makes training and recovering less comfortable than it should be for a premium gym. Aside from that, it’s a really good club and I do enjoy using it regularly.

The membership is extremely expensive compared to other gyms, but the actual gym experience doesn’t match the price at all. A lot of the machines feel outdated, poorly maintained, or just not very good compared to cheaper gyms. Some equipment is often unavailable because it’s either broken or constantly occupied. For a premium gym, I expected much better quality and variety of equipment. The biggest issue is how overcrowded it gets, especially during peak times. It’s difficult to get on machines without waiting ages, and the gym floor feels cramped and stressful rather than enjoyable. Even simple
