  My partner and I were met by Lloyd from the new membership team (yes, his actual name is Lloyd!). We called about 30 minutes before hoping to get a tour, and he was incredibly accommodating, booking us in without any fuss. When we arrived, he greeted us, offering a beverage, explained how the tour would run, and was genuinely engaging throughout. He walked us through each level and section of the gym, clearly explaining what everything was for. He also talked us through the current renovations in a way that was easy to understand, no jargon, no confusion. Most importantly, we felt completely relaxed in his hands. At no point did we feel rushed or pressured. He explained the sign‑up process clearly and professionally, and there was absolutely no pushiness. Overall, Lloyd made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. A great first impression and we joined after contemplating for over 1 year. Great service from Lloyd.

  Jayne on reception was very helpful and friendly when we arrived. Erin was allocated to show us round and made us feel very welcome. She answered all our questions and explained everything clearly and thoroughly with a very pleasant approach. Following the reception by Jayne and the tour by Erin we will certainly be joining.

  The staff at David Lloyd are really friendly and easy to talk to, which makes a big difference. You’re always greeted with a smile when you walk in, and if you ever need help with anything—whether it’s finding equipment or sorting bookings—they’re happy to help without making it feel like a hassle. The gym area is also great. It’s clean, well looked after, and has a good mix of equipment, so you’re not stuck waiting around too long. Everything feels modern and easy to use, and there’s plenty of space to do your workout without it feeling cramped, even when it’s a bit busier. Overall, it’s just a nice place to train. Good vibes, helpful staff, and a gym that’s actually enjoyable to use.
