Easy to book and swim session was great with my Grandchild . Parking was a nightmare . The floor was very slippery and my Grandson fell twice while holding my hand .

What is such a shame about Andover Leisure Centre is that the overall concept is actually very good. The Les Mills virtual spin classes are fantastic and the gym upstairs is genuinely well equipped, particularly for those focused on cardio training. However, the downstairs swimming pool and spa changing area is honestly one of the most unpleasant gym environments I have come across. There is a constant sewage-like smell as soon as you walk through the double doors into the downstairs changing rooms, and the cleanliness standards are simply not acceptable. It genuinely feels as though proper antibacterial cleaning products are not being used consistently, as the area often smells damp and unclean, creating visible issues with mould and general hygiene concerns. The upstairs female changing room could also be maintained better and half the time there is no hand wash available. One of the biggest issues is also member behaviour around the sauna and relaxation areas. Many people treat the sauna like a social club rather than a quiet relaxation space. There is often shouting, loud conversations, swearing and disruptive behaviour, which completely ruins the atmosphere for people who are actually trying to relax after a workout or swim. What makes this more frustrating is the lack of staff intervention. Staff never challenge disruptive behaviour or reinforce any standards within the relaxation areas. In many other gyms and leisure facilities, particularly in larger cities, this behaviour would be addressed quickly to ensure other members are not impacted. The centre has so much potential and some genuinely great facilities, but the hygiene standards downstairs and lack of management around member behaviour really let it down.

Used the pool here when travelling for work, very nice clean pool, plus a sauna and steam room and individual shower cubicles rather than just the large open communal showers. Clearly spent a lot of money on this leisure centre.

My son came into the leisure centre the other day after a fall from his scooter onto glass! a lifeguard (i think louis) handled this amazingly and calmed my son and his friends down in a professional manner and gave me good advice after bandaging my sons elbow and hands. Thanks.

Water in the teaching pool it seem to be 31 degrees and even warmer for infants. Actually is 29 feel very cold. Trying to talk with staff about that but they say its fine. I have to give up with Andover swimming pool because my son doesnt accept this.
