  I have had awful experiences with other well known opticians. Was in two minds of going...my good lady and my sister insisted...they said they are good. They are very good. Clean , tidy organised work areas with equipment from .....Star Trek. Staff are so polite....I feel bad. I felt very much looked after, clear instructions, clear information. Everyone cared.....such a pleasant visit. I think I have found MY opticians again. THANK TO ALL STAFF WHO ATTENDED ON MY VISIT. I only remember the name Josh as I sat with him going over glasses etc. Knowledgeable , interesting, attentive...nothing was to much hassle and i felt genuine nice guy.

  I am thrilled with the service I received with the Lakeside branch after having some disappointing experiences with the Southend branch. Everywhere was clean and it was fully staffed with people helping and directing me. The pre screening and optician himself were great. All of the staff I encountered were friendly, professional and helpful. A special recognition to Ayesha who helped me with the contact lens trial, was very patient in teaching me how to take them in and out, and was very reassuring when she could tell I was nervous. She then proceeded to help pick some frames, and when I asked if they had another colour she went out of her way to find and order them in for me. They had a great selection to choose from. She also explained the pricing all to me and overall I am very impressed and will be recommending. Thank you.

  I found vision express to be caring, listened to my concerns and I’m extremely pleased I made the visit. Rachel was outstanding in her field, taking time to hear my concerns, taking time to reassure me, explaining the differences in my sight before the test and the end results of her expertise. I would Thoroughly recommend anyone to go there. A big thank you to The staff at the store.

  I booked at this one as there was more variety, wish I'd stayed with the one in Tesco. They are so slow so perfect if you have plenty of time. I came to collect my glasses and was waiting over 30 minutes after being told to sit at a table and someone will be with me soon. 3 people came in after me and got seen straight away. When I had the eye test, there was a lot of waiting between each one and even 25 minutes of waiting once I'd been told to look at the glasses. I'll be sticking to Tesco from now one, much better service there
