I’m extremely disappointed with the service I have received from this Vision Express store. I handed my son’s Stellest glasses in for repair on 13 September, and they still have not been returned. It has now been well over two weeks. I was told by a member of staff that they would contact the lab and call me back with an update, but I never received that call. I have already contacted the store three times trying to find out what is happening, and I still have no clear answer. Now they are not even answering the phone when I call. My son relies on these glasses every day and I pay £25 a month for his Stellest lenses. While his glasses have been away, he has had to wear his normal pair and is finding it difficult to adjust, which is also affecting his schoolwork. For a service involving a child’s prescription glasses, the lack of communication and urgency has been very poor. I should not have to keep chasing repeatedly just to find out where his glasses are or when they will be returned. Very disappointing customer service. Also, the last appointment my son had took 2 hours as he was seen by a practising optician and she was not able to sign off his prescription without another optician and they were all too busy. Atrocious service. Will not be using their services from now on.
