  After email correspondence with Louise, I Popped in to enquire for a membership was met warmly at reception and sat with a coffee where Victoria helped me, answered all my questions throuroughly and convincingly and helped me sign on, going through the app and how everything works. Very happy and excited to be part of this club.

  I had a lovely experience looking around David Lloyd. From the moment I arrived, everyone was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. The facilities were really impressive and there was such a great atmosphere throughout the club. Jazz was really helpful during the tour and took the time to explain everything clearly, answer all my questions and make me feel comfortable. I never felt pressured at any point, which I really appreciated. Overall, I was really impressed with what David Lloyd has to offer and I would definitely recommend having a look around if you’re considering joining.

  Thank you so much Jaz. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better person to show me around David Lloyd. Jaz was absolutely fantastic from start to finish - incredibly friendly, warm, empathetic and genuinely encouraging. She made me feel completely at ease, listened to what I was looking for and, importantly, there was absolutely no pressure whatsoever. She even laughed at all my jokes, which obviously earned her extra points! 😂 What really impressed me was that she never once made me feel like I was being “sold” to. She was simply brilliant at showing me what David Lloyd had to offer, answering all my questions and making me feel excited about joining. In fact, it was her approach that actually convinced me to go ahead straight away. She is a real asset to David Lloyd. She has such a natural way with people and I can absolutely see why she would be brilliant in a sales role. If I were hiring, I’d be snapping her up! Really fabulous experience especially as it was my birthday too1

  I met with Liv to join as a new member, Liv was cool, calm and collected, very informative on what was on offer, sensitive to my wife and I requirements. If I had difficulty in registering, Liv would politely offer some help with IT. The whole process was a joy because of Liv’s professional and lovely manners. Liv ended our meeting mentioning that she had only been at DL for 3 weeks, David Lloyd, you are very lucky to have Liv in your team. Thank you Liv. Best Wishes Sylvie and Steve.

  Here as a temporary member whilst my gym I go to sorts out a broken wet room. My second day here it's been amazing I'm a ambulatory wheelchair user and I love the fact you have a huge dedicated disabled change. Only issues I've encountered are the door handles going to pool area are very high up for a wheelchair user to reach could do with lowered door handles and also the wet room shower has no lock on the door so that could also be improved, and in the pool area there's no level access to sunbed area could do with a little ramp over the threshold as my wheelchair wheels struggle but I can thankfully lift my light wheelchair over It. You could further improve access by having a pool chair lift for those who are full time wheelchair users to access both pools but for me the handrail and stairs is suitable. Can't comment on gym unfortunately as the lift to access it is out of action and not been fixed hopefully it will be sorted soon. They don't allow support workers in on temporary pass which is a shame as could do with help with doors and showers. Only gave it a 4 because of the small accessibility issues which could be fixed this gym has real potential to be suitable for wheelchair users and disabled people. Also, could do with a bus stop near as the nearest bus stop is groundwell west or blundson, and also a couple more drop kerbs on the pedestrian route from Aldi up to the gym but I know these things aren't in the gym's control (that I've mentioned in this paragraph) I would return if it was in my monthly budget, or if another promotion offer was available, and because I rely on public transport it's quite far from the bus stop. Also they should allow support workers in regardless, temporary or not as my carer could have brought me up in the car and she would of happily enjoyed a coffee untill I need her assistance But let's end on the positive points... Because it's mostly positive, disabled facilities 9/10 , staff friendlyness 10/10, and they have a mirror and hairdryer at wheelchair height, amazing 🤩 Also I love the poolside ordering, that's accessible and the spa is good too plenty of space to leave your wheelchair to access the spa facilities A big thanks to my friend and previous fitness instructor Cheryl Palmer for recommending this place to me absolutely love it and I hope to find a class I can do that's accessible I will recommend to others
