- PGprof gingy2 days ago2.0Tbh it was just "hard-sell." I wanted distance glasses my comments about why I didn't want reading glasses just got ignored as they pressed on with the sales pitch. Then sunglasses, then insurance, then an annual plan, then protective coatings. I know you have to make money but you listened to nothing I said and just viewed my appointment and me as an opportunity to make as much as possible then acted disappointed when I only bought one pair of glasses.

From start to finish .I was not asked if I wanted reading glasses and long distance glasses.my long distance is good without glasses.i am a pensioner on benefits . Therefore I need glasses to be as affordable . Upon girl advising me to choose some frames .I was looking to get something in the 42 pound range .there was 5 or 6 pairs for lower price but all had wire frames .( no good to me I wud prob sit on them )I then proceeded to pick another frame .I asked the girl what style wud suit my round fat face. She passed me sone frames .I didn't know what the price was as it was on the frame of which I cudnt see. I eventually took 2 pairs of frames to the girl. Not knowing how much they were. I sat down in front computer. The girl was advising me to go on a scheme. Of which I didn't want to .after about 20 mins.of which i sat at computer .a que had formed. I was horrified.everything on the screen was viewable to people waiting to be seen which was getting long .I'd already told the assistant that I had bn blacklisted years ago .she still tried to put me on this scheme. Then on the computer screen came a red declined. Everybody in que cud see that my details were declined .I was so embarresed
