Ive been a consistent gymgoer for the last 4 years and this is the worst that I've ever been to. No air-conditioning, hot and humid. The cleaner, while I was doing heavy barbell squat reps, was poking around me with a vacuum, even under (and on!?!) My legs. Disgustingly dangerous and inconsiderate. He also hoovered my girlfriends bag and under her while doing heavy hip thrusts. Never seen that before. The other people using the facilities lacked social awareness, hogging machines for over half an hour and blatantly, repeatedly, staring at my partner until she felt so uncomfortable we decided to leave half way through our workout. The receptionist was lovely and was the only redeeming quality, she kindly let us both in for the price of one day pass. Would avoid the gym if possible. Can't comment on other facilities!

Swim only membership IS NOT WORTH IT.
I’ve signed up here thinking I’d be able to use their facilities atleast 4 days a week. I finish work at 5 and ideally would like to go straight after work. Only 2 days during the week I can go at 6:30. Then on the weekend? Closed.
It’s a joke, I’m paying so I can go there to swim, and the only time I can go is twice a week? And not to mention when I do go, it’s one singular lane with lots of others crammed in who haven’t even booked! I’m told to wear a wrist band so the lifeguard will know I have booked, but not one single person in my lane also had a wrist band on.
The gym might be good in general, but if you want to swim and you work a 9-5 DO NOT GO HERE. It’s a complete waste of money. You’re better off swimming in the Thames, seriously!
And these guys are terrible at answering the phone. Membership cancelled

Good selection of machines and weights in the gym, repair times to equipment seem to be excessively long usually running into weeks..
other users are quite friendly and so are the staff despite their tendency to chat only to each other and a few regulars they get on with.
Despite the general friendliness I find gym etiquette to be sorely lacking with other users(doom scrolling) and staff hogging certain machines and stations that they aren't even using...
Like today when you make the effort to get up early to go in before work and you can't do your a workout because a member of staff is lounging against a machine whilst their client does lunges in the walkway, and when you ask if they're using that machine so you can go on it they just say yes when in actual fact they're just reserving it for their client.
All this means is it's almost impossible to do a planned workout.
Moaning aside,
with such a heavily subscribed gym that's always busy I think it would really help if staff showed some initiative and taught people how to work around each other so everyone could get a fair workout in.

I’ve signed up to use the swimming lanes which I now regret, and would advise anyone to go elsewhere. Firstly there are only 2 times a week in which you can go after 3pm, because you HAVE to book, I was told I have to wear a wrist band, so I did but everyone else in my lane did not have one… there was over 15 people in one single lane. No space to move AT ALL.
The only time to go swimming here is in the middle of the day during the week or 9pm. No in between. Cancelling my membership ship as I can’t even lane swim more than twice a week.

I can honestly say this is the best gym and leisure centre I’ve ever been to. I used to be a member at David Lloyd Raynes Park and several other premium gyms, but this place is by far the best experience I’ve had.
The atmosphere, facilities, and overall environment are amazing, but what really makes the difference is the staff and the way members are treated. Everyone is welcoming, professional, and genuinely cares.
A special mention to George, who has been absolutely amazing. His attitude, kindness, and customer service go above and beyond and really make this place stand out from every other gym I’ve been to. You can tell he truly cares about the members and creating a positive environment.
Couldn’t recommend this place enough.
