I wrote a review on Trust Pilot but don't know if it will be seen by the staff at Sunbury, whom I wish to express my appreciation and gratitude. They are a thoughtful, cheerful group of people, always on hand to answer questions and offer support. Then yesterday, I had an appointment with Dan, who talked me through my options in the gym and patiently answered all my questions. He was altruism personified, and made me feel that I wasn't a nuisance, wasn't too old to take advantage of what was on offer, and encouraged me to keep the swimming going also. I came away inspired, and the usual friendly smile and farewell from reception. Sunbury is a model leisure centre, and I can even vouch for the swimming teachers who make the lessons fun for their young charges. I had some lessons with Seni a few years ago and she also showed the patience and good nature, as well as skill, of the whole staff. Thank you Sunbury, Places Leisure. You are great!

Sunbury Leisure Centre I honestly cannot thank everyone at Sunbury Leisure Centre enough for the incredible support and encouragement they have given me. ❤️ Last year, in May, I was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) and lost my mobility below my neck. After months of treatment at St Peter’s Hospital and rehabilitation at the Bradley Unit at Woking Community Rehabilitation Hospital, I came home using a wheelchair and crutches. Starting at Sunbury Leisure Centre became a very important part of my recovery. Dan helped me take my first steps in the gym, and since then the Managers, amazing coaches, staff , Receptionist, PT and lifeguards have constantly encouraged, supported and motivated me. I started with Aqua Fit and slowly progressed to the gym, fitness classes and swimming. When I first started, I struggled to lift 2kg in each hand. Today, I can manage 16kg in each hand. I still have shaking in my hands and my knees can lock, but I refuse to let these challenges stop me. My son Vritant is also a huge inspiration and constantly encourages me to keep going. My recovery has been physical, but it has also been a huge mental and emotional journey. The team at Sunbury Leisure Centre have helped me rebuild my confidence and given me encouragement on the difficult days. For me, “ A gym is not just about the workout or the equipment. It is the people who work there who make the place feel welcoming, positive and encouraging.” They know me by name, check on me, encourage me and genuinely care about my progress. That kindness means more to me than they probably realise. I still have a long way to go, but I am incredibly proud of how far I have come. Recovery is not about being perfect. It is about refusing to give up. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to every member of the Sunbury Leisure Centre team. ❤️ Thank you for believing in me when I needed it most and helping me believe in myself again. ❤️💪

8 minutes to collect my daughter and a £100 fine. Be aware! Not sure who has responsibility for implementing this parking enforcement style, but I feel that vendors should understand the impact this has on a business when there is no drop off and pick up facility.

Staff are so friendly. So welcoming on reception. Makes such a difference coming to the gym and being greeted well.
