They were on time. I managed to get a convenient appointment within a few days of my recall. The staff were polite and the store was nice and clean. They eye test was thorough and unrushed. I wasn’t pressured into buying glasses at the time but will likely go back and get them soon.

Manager was extremely rude and obnoxious. I haven’t purchased my daughter’s glasses with you. I’ll take my money elsewhere and I will 100% never return to a Specsavers for my own or my husbands glasses. You lost a good customer from a very uneducated Manager who has little to zero experience with customer service! Zero emotional intelligence in the way he handled the situation

Efficient, friendly, reasonably priced, always easy to get an appointment when it's convenient for me. Specsavers (Guildford at least) just takes out a lot of the hassle of opticians appointments

I visited to collect my child’s glasses, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. After arriving, we were left waiting for quite some time, despite the glasses already being ready for collection. When the staff member assigned to assist us eventually began adjusting the glasses, she repeatedly interrupted the process to attend to other customers. On one occasion, she stopped what she was doing to deal with another customer’s appointment. When she resumed adjusting the glasses, another customer approached her, and she again appeared ready to leave our appointment to assist them. It was only after I explained that we were in a hurry that she finally focused on completing the fitting. I do not understand why a staff member would repeatedly leave a customer they are actively serving to attend to others. This happened more than once and resulted in unnecessary delays throughout our visit. It felt unprofessional and disrespectful of our time. I was also concerned by the fitting process itself. The staff member had long gel nails and appeared unable to make precise adjustments to the nose pads smoothly. The overall process did not inspire confidence in her level of skill or professionalism. In addition, I was disappointed by the pricing. We purchased the frame at the same price as last year, and the lenses were the same type as those previously ordered. However, last year we were charged £20 for the glasses, whereas this year we were charged £45. No clear explanation was provided for this significant increase. Overall, I was very disappointed with both the customer service and professionalism demonstrated during our visit. I would expect a professional optical practice to provide more focused service, better attention to customers already being assisted, and greater transparency in pricing. Unfortunately, this experience fell well below those expectations.
