  Phoned 111 as a Sunday Told me to go to Tesco Pharmacy in Addlestone Waited with others as late opening Waited again to see Pharmacist Went into consultation room He asked symptoms I had high temperature over 2 days , sore throat , white spots on tonsils and so unwell Looked in throat Said his guidelines said it wasn’t bad enough Couldn’t give me antibiotics To go and buy an expensive throat spray and a Covid test Covid- negative of course Doctors full up next day so unwell went to my own pharmacy Asked me symptoms Didn’t look in my throat Knew straight away Gave me antibiotics All the customers in the queue were unhappy waiting over a week for prescriptions not ready etc at this Tesco pharmacy Please do something about your Pharmacy especially on a Sunday when I went All the reviews say it all Time to take action

  Such wonderful and helpful staff!! I went in to collect a prescription but it had not been released yet so they were unable to dispense it. I said I would come back later on and an hour later they rang me to say it was ready which I wasn’t expecting them to do and thought was such great service. Will definitely be getting all my prescriptions from here in the future!

  Absolutely disgusted by the way the male pharmacist dealt with my sister today ! My sister went in to see him with an 39.6 tempreture, her body aching all over and white covering her tonsils. Before even checking her tonsils, the pharmacist asked her if she had done a covid test, which she hadn't. She didn't need too because quite clearly she has tonsillitis. He literally laughed at her ! Said her body is hurting because she probably has covid - he clearly went to a dead out medical school ! Lymph nodes are located all through out our body and swell when someone is begining to get poorly ! Hence why a couple days before a virus our body aches, its the absolute first indication that an illness is about to start. So the fact he didn't even know this information is absolutely appalling ! Not only did he literally laughed in the face of someone really poorly ! He refused to check her tonsils and refused to give her antibiotics. Infact all he done was made her spend £10 on a numbing spray for her throat ! What an absolutely joke ! I then made my sister an appointment with Jays pharmacy in pooleygreen and they was simply amazing ! As soon as he looked in her mouth he sat back and said "wow, yes you absolutely need antibiotics, you have a bad case of tonsillitis" So Jays pharmacy, thank you so much! To the male pharmacist at the tesco pharmacy in addlestone, I'm absolutely disgusted with how you conducted yourself and you really shouldn't be working there ! You should be embarrassed with yourself ! No one listen to him unless it's the female pharmacist there. She's amazing !!! Hopefully this helps someone in the future. We know our bodies, don't let someone els tell you what's what !
