  From the moment we met Abzy, he made us feel as though we were sitting with a member of our own family. He has such a genuine warmth and kindness that immediately puts you at ease. We have truly adopted him into our family! Abzy is exceptionally professional, compassionate, sensitive, and attentive to every detail. He has a wonderful gift of making you feel as though you are the only person in the room, giving you his complete attention and making you feel genuinely seen and valued. Yet you know he has the ability to make every single person feel just as special. On top of that, he’s a comedian at heart, so be prepared to laugh! His brilliant sense of humour brings so much joy and makes every visit an experience you’ll genuinely look forward to. His care, respect, authenticity, and infectious personality are rare qualities, and they shine through in everything he does. We cannot recommend him highly enough.   Firstly, Tom from sales clearly offering some sort of incentive to new members for positive reviews so allow me to tell you the truth. I’m Currently a member but seriously considering leaving if things don’t change. Where do I start…. There firstly seems to be no peak or quiet time, just constantly rammed and carpark (which is quite clearly too small for the amount of members and size of facility) always full. Restrictive pool times for adults, if you want to swim in the day in the indoor pool, forget it. It’ll be full of kids. Leaving you with the only choice but to swim in the outside pool weather permitting, which recently has been consistently filthy!! There are “ladies nights” in the spa meaning men can’t use the spa on Thursday evenings which even all women I’ve spoken to find utterly ridiculous. Then family times on Sunday!?!?? A spa is and always has been a place for adults, not children!!! Also ridiculous!! Then the biggest issue of all, David Lloyd have quite clearly over sold the place. For the sort of money we are paying (£260 per month for a family!!) you expect some sort of exclusivity but no, they’re taking on more and more members and it’s becoming extremely off putting. I came in the other day for a gym session at around 5pm and the place was absolutely RAMMED! just about managed to complete a workout (without being able to get in various machines I’d usually like to), I then walked into the changing room, planning on a quick spa to wind down and was met with a sea of people through which you couldn’t even move!!! I just turned round and went home. So. Like I said, I things don’t change, I will be considering leaving. You can start by not taking on Any more members!!! Every time I’m there, there’s another family being walked around 🤦‍♂️

  I recently visited David Lloyd Shrewsbury for a tour of the facilities and was extremely impressed from start to finish. A special thank you to Tom, who showed me around. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional throughout, taking the time to explain everything in detail and answer all of our questions. He made me feel very welcome and gave a great insight into everything the club has to offer. The facilities themselves were excellent, with a high standard of cleanliness and a fantastic range of gym, swimming and fitness facilities. Tom’s enthusiasm and genuine passion for the club really stood out and made the experience even better.

  We had an excellent tour with Tom who showed us around. He asked us about our reasons for visiting the club and tailored the tour accordingly to our needs. He was really helpful with answering all of our questions and discussing membership options with us. We really appreciated that he gave us time alone to discuss options before coming back to us at the end to sign up. We are very excited to join the David Lloyd Club in Shrewsbury.

  We had a fantastic experience exploring David Lloyd Shrewsbury, largely thanks to Tom from the sales team. He was incredibly helpful and exceptionally insightful about everything the club has to offer. He took the time to highlight the areas that mattered most to us, giving a great overview of the Spa and the padel courts, as well as walking us through the family facilities and kids' timetables. There was no pressure or hard sell at all - just genuine enthusiasm and thorough knowledge. Highly recommend speaking to Tom if you're considering joining the club.
