  Every time a pop up comes up asking me to rate my experience I do, this is a convenient place to work out for me, but now the prices have gone up, do I think the overall service reflects in the price, no, as everything has remained the same, if you raise the price, the service has to reflect that, but if that doesn't bother you then it is a good place to be, everything in one place.

  Before the end of my 12 month contract I asked a member of staff at the desk if it would go onto a rolling contract to which they told me yes it would. Three months into this rolling contract I went in and said I’d like to cancel. I was told I can’t my contract had renewed for another 12 months. She proceeded to tell me it’s in the small print, at no point was this made clear to me and when I asked the staff member before they didn’t say this either, matters made worse the staff member was rude and when I asked why it didn’t go onto a rolling contract she replied “it’s just good business”. There are plenty of gyms you can join that aren’t money grabbing, untruthful and rude. I would steer clear from this company. DO NOT USE THEM, it’s not worth the hassle. Awful service and staff will lie about the terms to trap you for another year.

  Don’t know how you’ve got cheek to charge what you do and in return get box standard treatment. Half the time either sauna or steam room is closed, it’s unclean, machines are broke. Been a member for 1 year now. Found a gym half the price and goes the extra mile for the customers. Don’t waste ya money plenty other gyms just as good.

  It's constantly over subscribed. You can't book on to a class because they're always fully booked. They have also in the past hiked up prices astronomically. The customer service at Virgin online is awful. The app never works, you can't reset your password. I joined to swim, but you can never get in the pool for lessons or it just being over subscribed. My 12 contract was set to auto renew and when I missed the email they basically told me tough luck. Go to a locally owned gym, you'll get a much better experience. Staff seem ok. Everything else is just poor imo

  If you like having random price hikes of £20 a month for no additional benefits and spending 20-30 minutes of your day queuing to get out of the car park this is the gym for you! Also expect a response like below if you bring any feedback to them….corporate way of saying “we will do bugger all about the issues faced by members because once we’ve got your money we literally done care any more” 👍
