  I went to Vision Express following some irritation in my right eye. Was seen very quickly and dealt with very efficiently by staff wh were friendly and helpful. I was given a thorough examination and didn't feel rushed at all.

  A very thorough Opticians check and super help and service from Stephanie Lo to get me new glasses and replacement lenses for 11 year old sport Oakley sports glasses, which I was really pleased could be achieved

  Punctual to the minute! Great reassuring visit. My eye soreness turned out to be ‘just’ from offending eyelashes and they were removed on the spot and the soreness cleared up in a couple of hours. The sight test was very reassuring. I have had bilateral vitrectomy and to see the retina carefully monitored is a great relief. Well done!

  The first operative seemed more concerned about getting fees back from the NHS than the needs of my husband, who is deaf and has dementia. She constantly demanded to know why he was there and if his eyesight had changed as it was only ten months since he was last checked. He was confused by her Chinese accent and demands. The manager came and accused me of shouting when I was speaking loudly so my husband could hear. More training needed for these people. The eye test from the actual optician when done more sympathetically.

  I am so glad I chose to go to Vision Express for my eye test. I love it when a business has plenty of staff all alert and waiting to carry out their job in an excellent fashion. The extra £6 I paid was for those extra tests to check all was healthy in the eye. I have the highest regard for the optician who carried out the test and at my age I have had about 50 tests. He was the best.
