  Not going to lie but despite all the negative reviews this pharmacy is really good. The staff are lovely always willing to help and advise where needed and I don’t think a lot of the reviews reflect this. I normally get all my repeat prescriptions here and I’ve had no issues with any of the staff of service that tescos pharmacy offers. All in all I think we really need to be more respectful to the staff because they are doing an excellent job. Keep up the great work you’re doing! :)

  Only given one star as no able to give zero. Got to be the worst pharmacy in Southport, staff ignore your presence, even when they see you waiting, prescription takes forever. My daughter dropped a prescription in at 12.30 was told they would call when ready, I went back at 2.15 it still wasn't ready! Took the prescription back and went to Cumberland Rd pharmacy, I was greeted by a very pleasant lady and was served in five minutes.

  Really disappointed with how much Tesco Pharmacy Southport has gone downhill. Tonight I arrived at 7:58pm, two minutes before the advertised 8pm closing time, and the staff were already in their coats with their bags ready to leave. At 7:59pm I asked if they were closing and was told yes. If the pharmacy is open until 8pm, customers should be able to use the service until then. Prescriptions also seem to take much longer than they used to. What used to be around a 20-minute wait is now next day. This week alone, two prescriptions weren’t processed together, meaning I had to make four separate trips to collect my medication. That’s incredibly frustrating and also unnecessary driving when it could easily be avoided. It used to be open until 10pm and the service was much more convenient. Very disappointing to see the decline in both the opening hours and the service. Not to mention the male practitioner who deserves a 1 star review just for himself. Going to change to a local smaller pharmacy as it can’t get worse than this!

  I come here to pick up a prescription for a neighbour. Having read other reviews, its nice to know it is not just me that gets such bad treatment. If I ever get prescribed medication for myself, I will not be coming here

  I am extremely disappointed with the service I received. The staff member was argumentative and confrontational, not only with me but also with several other customers. She informed us that she was refusing to serve anyone, which was both unprofessional and unacceptable. Customer service should be delivered with courtesy and respect, and unfortunately this was not my experience. I found the staff member’s attitude rude and inappropriate for someone working in a public-facing role. As a result, I intend to make a formal complaint regarding this incident. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this pharmacy and would advise others to consider using an alternative pharmacy that provides a more professional standard of service.
