I like this Professional people and kind.
I appreciate this place because is very clean.
I decided I wanted to join a Leisure Club that was spacious, and welcoming, with a wide range of classes, swimming pool, and well equipped gym when needed.
I arranged a tour with the lovely Molly! who took time to understand my needs, show me around the whole complex, and explained everything thoroughly!
I have to say it exceeded my expectations! and I already feel part of the David Lloyd Community! 😍
Excellent! I had my tour with Molly and she was so knowledgeable and friendly. Answered all of my questions and explained everything thoroughly. Walked me through every area and gave recommendations. The gym and spa itself is amazing. Very spacious and well thought out. The business lounge is excellent and I’ve already used it. I had a bit of an issue with the app but the team got back to me so quickly, and it was sorted. Every time I go in everyone is just so friendly and happy to answer questions or give recommendations. I have already had my first kickstart PT session with Alex F who was great! Really easy to get on with and helped improve my form. He answered all my questions and got to have a good laugh which put me at ease. The platinum membership is a good price for what you get, I was thinking it would be more expensive. No place is going to be 100% perfect, but you can tell the staff really do try to make every visit great.

The gym is good, but the club falls short elsewhere unfortunately. Alongside multiple members who attend in the morning, we've been raising the same issues for months, with no resolution or input from the team. Although the gym equipment is good, the ongoing maintenance is lacking. The main area of issue is the spa, where the staff often have forgotten to turn the rooms on to heat up in the mornings, or they are constantly broken. There hasn't been ice in the fire & ice room now for a long while, and until recently, there was a lack of heat also. They've replaced the heating element, but forget to turn it on for morning attendees. The same goes for the standard steam room, where it's often just a cold room with some benches - I've attached a picture from this morning. When raising this with staff, they're incredibly dismissive and don't really care. There's always different aspects closed (until recently it was the shower and the plunge pool), however this changes in rotation. I had escalated this up and a lady named Kerry was dealing with the issues, until she stopped replying when I asked for timescales and answers. In the changing rooms, a lot of lockers have padlocks constantly on (I enter at 6 in the morning when they open, so they don't belong to anyone inside at that time) where people are 'reserving' their current locker. This has been flagged so many times with staff, who just leave them, meaning not everyone can be accommodated. Some locks have been there for a couple of months now. People have to jump out of showers to find another with shower gel stocked, and the sinks stink near the shorts drier. Other times there's urine all over the floor in the toilet area. It's all just a lack of attention and no desire to maintain. If this was sorted, it would be a great place.
