SWIMTAG advertised but none available for the last 3 weeks. Hopeless when you’ve joined challenges and then can’t complete.

Went for a swim today but couldn’t do a lot of swimming as overcrowded, half the big pool was sectioned off for training and the other half full of people standing around, throwing balls, messing around. Lifeguards were only supervising the training so no control. I gave up in the end and left. Will try other pools in the area.

It started off so well, been coming to this Gym for about 3 months and was great. I used the sauna and steam room and most of all the gym. Unfortunately stopped using the sauna as people where spitting in the floor, I stopped using that facility, but unfortunately for the past almost 2 months the mens changing rooms are out of order!! I've asked multiple times about when they are reopening, I have no interest in using the communal change rooms as the kids are off and it's always rammed! Showers are a good distance away from the lockers and TBF the shower cubicles are filthy. Unfortunately some staff don't seem care, I spoke to a staff member and their way of resolving the problem was to freeze my membership!! But no idea when till. I also asked if the phones where working and was told yes, Then try picking it up when it rings!!! I got the reply that we are always busy, at 6:30am!!,
Unfortunately was the last straw as I live to use the gym, take a shower and go to work. But can't do that, I have to go home and get showered before going to work, so yeah disappointing

2 stars is for the staff, friendly and do their job well.
The site however is becoming an unpleasant visit each time as a member. The shower heads need replacing, as the water pressure is awful.
The swimming pool is decent from first glance but algae/mould build up is evident from the corners. Barely can manage to get a swim in, given the other pool is temporarily closed also
The sauna is not too bad. The steam room however can be quite unhygienic with marks on the walls showing it has not been cleaned properly.
The toilets are the worst, men’s toilets consistent foul smell each visit, with urinals unchecked/cleaned. Rarely any soap in dispensers and overall not what you expect from a site that is adamant on raising prices each year.
It seems their is more emphasis placed on checking if people are wearing bands (who are still members, but just can’t be bothered to book) rather than upholding and checking hygiene standards by members.
The only pleasant visits you get is when you come early morning, where the site is as it should be, clean and maintained.
It seems their bar for repair and standards are in the gutter, management should heavily consider this review as it is the view on many I have spoken to.
