- MRMostyn ReedAug 5, 20263.0First off, I didn't have an eye test on this visit. I wanted a new pair of readers as my originals had become scratched. On a previous eye test with you it was recommended that I had readers and drivers. The assistant checked my records and assured me a new pair of readers could be ordered - I chose the frame and waited. Not a week passed and I had the call to collect so off I went. Guess what - they ordered drivers not readers ! The staff were very apologetic for their schoolboy error. They re-ordered and after about a week I had another call to collect. After a few days I was experiencing headaches so I returned to the store. Again, very helpful, it seems the focal point of the lens was not centered in the frame. All they suggested was I try them for a while to see if things improve. I wasn't best pleased so left the store.

However when making an appointment in store and the fact I could not make the appointment the following day and could only make it in three days time, drew comments of, “you must be mad, it’s up to you if you want to go blind” from the shop manager. The treatment from staff at the appointment was excellent and I informed the option of the comments from the time I booked the appointment. That would be fed back. Comments were inappropriate and worrying, luckily at the appointment everything was normal but the comments caused worry and unnecessary stress.

Your staff were very kind and rang me as i was having my eye test just to see if he was safe to be alone. I was so grateful for this gesture as they did not have to do this and they are always very busy. It was in Talbot Green branch a big thank you😊
