  I recently joined DL Manchester North to train for the police. Daniel has helped so much in showing me which machines to use and how to use them, would highly recommend this gym

  The place is filthy constantly. All the parasols are broken - seems to be in no rush for them to be fixed meaning no shade for any family either when sat on the patio or on sun loungers in the recent heat wave. They have 4 hours gap per day with no cleaners and said “it’s a budget issue” - no money for cleaners with a £114 per month membership fee?? The area manager is never around and the manager blocks any complaints escalating to him. The cafe is old and run down. The tables have menus shoved under them to stop them wobbling. The chairs are filthy. The staff try their best as do management but unfortunately the book stops with the general manager and her standards are slack at best.

  I recently hired the Ivy Suite at David Lloyd Middleton for our Children’s Year 6 Prom. The entire experience from start to finish was smooth sailing. Karris Greenwood the Clubroom Supervisor was excellent, so friendly and made everything so easy! We had access to the room to set up as soon as the club doors opened, Karris kept in touch from booking and provided answers to all my questions. Parents and children had such an incredible time. The children were free to run around inside and outside and play safely due to the secure outdoor area. Karris and colleague also bartended and had smiles on their faces throughout. I’m wondering what event I can plan next just so we can have an excuse to do it all over again! The Ivy Suite will be my go to venue moving forward, could not fault anything. Thank you so much Karris for helping our children have the most memorable night.

  PARKING IS BECOMING IMPOSSIBLE! Every time have been to the in the last few months it has been a struggle to park. It seems to be getting worse. Last week me and my mum missed our class because we were just driving around waiting for someone to leave and didn’t make it in time. Today I arrived 15mins early to my pt session in anticipation of this but still almost didn’t make it in on time because of the parking. When I walked through reception there were several people complaining to the receptionist about this also. This was a Tuesday morning at 10.40am!!! Not peak time!!! And this is constant problem. On top of that the gym is just generally over crowded and uncomfortable. Looking at the other reviews here and speaking to other members at the club I think a lot of people are feeling fed up.
