  The Pharmacist at this Tesco Pharmacy can be relied upon to offer his support, advice and assistance. Since "Jack" left some 18 months or so ago he was a hard act to follow but given that the Pharmacy has undergone some changes during this time the present Pharmacist has stepped up. Staffing or lack of it is at the root of any problems not the staff or the will to fulfill what is expected of them.

  Just used pharmacy for the 1st time very disappointing. Arrived in store to pick up mine and husband's prescriptions. There was an extremely long queue at the pharmacy and appeared to be only one person serving. I therefore decided to get some groceries 1st. When I returned to the pharmacy around 12.55 there were 2 members of staff, only one of which was serving. I waited for them to finish serving the couple in front of me by which time it was a few minutes before 1pm. The lady asked how she could help, I explained I wanted to collect my prescription and my husband's 2 prescriptions - all sent from our surgery at the end of last week. After several minutes the lady returned with just one prescription for my husband and grumpily advised the other 2 prescriptions weren't done and I would have to come back for them as she had to have her lunch. I said I wouldn't be able to come back for several days as I would be away and asked whether it would be possible for her to do the other prescriptions as they only had 2 items in each. She rudely refused reiterating she had to have her lunch and that it wasn't fair. I said only providing half of what was required was not very helpful at all. She then asked what exemptions I had (I wasn't given the opportunity to sign the prescription or show my pre-paid certificate) - she then walked off. An overall disappointing experience and very poor customer service.

  You'll need at least an hour to spare to get anything here! They serve about one person every 15mins, so be prepared to wait! And I mean every time I've been here. Not a one off.

  Used to be good but is now utterly useless. Staff are grumpy and seem to have no clue what they're doing.

  Probably one of the worse pharmacies I've ever been to, they are outrageously slow, they always miss things off the prescriptions and dont tell you, hence almost always having to do a second visit for what seems to be a straight forward job for other pharmacies, fingers crossed this post will change managment at some point to someone who can manage employees and the inner workings of a business without such shortfalls .
