  Highly recommend spectators Bicester. Hayley was lovely, helping to choose my glasses and sunglasses, unrushed,professional and knowledgeable of the products.

  I booked a MECS appointment at lunchtime on Saturday and was sent straight to the eye hospital to have emergency surgery on a detached retina. The response of the optometrist (Rita) has given me the best possibile chance of saving as much of the sight in my left eye as is possible. Thank you.

  Excellent service. Very thorough Optometrist was spot on with her diagnosis of my relative , leading to her receiving potentially sight saving intervention within a week. Very grateful and would highly recommend

  I had an appointment booked on Weds 16th Sept , I made the appointment as I had woken up on the Monday with a black thing floating atound in my eye. All of the staff in the Vision Express in Bicester were very kind , respectful and helpful . The young man who did my eye test was concerned about something so asked a colleague to check too. They referred me to the JR eye casualty dept. I hadn't heard from the dept by the late afternoon, the young optician called me to make sure I called the hospital the following morning which I did, I was seen that day and after further investigations they decided it wasn't serious. I have since had a call from one of the opticians to ask how it went. I would like to praise both of them for referring me and following up to check all was ok. Many thanks to them both

  I don't often leave one-star reviews, but my experience today was horrendous. I dropped some glasses for re-glazing. The person I spoke to said it'll take an hour, so I went for a coffee and returned an hour later. They had accidentally put someone else's lenses in my glasses. A harmless error, but, the woman who served me opened not by apologising but by saying "right, my fears were right" and blaming her colleagues in the lab rather than focusing on what this meant for me. I said that I'm not particularly interested in hearing about who's to blame here. I'm 8 months pregnant and energy is a struggle. She asked if I can wait another hour, or go home and come back later. I said that moving is actually quite hard right now and she said "oh don't use that as an excuse, getting out is good for you!" in the most patronising tone. I asked if they can post them, nope. I asked if I can get a discount for the error, nope. She just suggested that I send someone else out later to pick them up for me. Honestly really shocked. I don't mind about the lack of discount, but the way that I was spoken to was awful. I thought this place had a better reputation.
