The facilities from the gym, swimming pool and spa area has been top class and I look forward to going there after work. If you think of being a member, do not hesitate as it is worth it .

- RRRustyAug 9, 20262.0Member at Oxford Cowley used Bicester today as visiting parents this unit is due some upgrades, lifefitness running machines are at least 3/4 generations old and it shows a lot of equipment in the small gym is out of action and there are stains and poor furniture quality scattered around. You should have to queue for treadmills when you are paying £££hundreds a month. The treadmills and rowing machines don’t seem calibrated correctly either some strange figures coming up on pretty standard exercises. Thankfully Cowley is in a lot better state after the refurb.

This is exacerbated by the fact that children are allowed in. 10–13 year olds are supposed to be supervised by an adult (I’ve never seen any supervision), while 14 year olds have free rein. If, like me, you want to do serious training, this is worth considering — it’s very frustrating when kids treat the space more as a playground. I’ve been a member for many years and this hasn’t always been the case. I’d be interested to know when the policy changed,Please tell me when? Be careful, David Lloyd: you may be maximising profits with this approach, but it risks alienating your long-term core members.
