  Went to the pharmacy yesterday around 7pm after finishing work, as I suspected I had tonsillitis. I explained my symptoms and asked if there was anything they could do. The counter staff spoke to the pharmacist, who said there was nothing they could do and that I would have to wait for a GP appointment bear in mind this is a Saturday. I wasn’t seen or assessed by the pharmacist at all and was simply given an antiseptic throat spray and sent on my way. This was frustrating as, from what I had read, pharmacists can assess suspected tonsillitis. I went to a different pharmacy today, where I was properly assessed and prescribed antibiotics. I understand antibiotics aren’t always necessary, but I expected to at least be assessed before being told there was nothing they could do. Very disappointing experience.

  Some of the rudest staff I have ever had the misfortune of meeting. Have left it a good 5 days before going to get my prescription as every single time I go it’s never ready. Went today as I am running low. Spoke to the pharmacist who was nothing but useless and rude. Stated that they were working on prescriptions from the 22nd but mine was on the 23rd so they wouldn’t do it. Asked if I should come back tomorrow or the day after to check, said they he won’t put a date on it and it’ll be done when it’s done and if I was so concerned I should have done it earlier. I explained that I couldn’t do it earlier as I was waiting on a doctors appointment to have my dose lowered to which he said not to bother them next time and to get an emergency prescription. This is now the second or third time I’ve gone to get a prescription, it hasn’t been ready and they’ve been incredibly rude about it, or I haven’t even been notified hence why I have to keep going in. they’ve even sent me away stating it takes them 10 days to get through to my prescription from when it was issued to then have it done an hour later?! It’s an absolute pathetic service

  First prescription delivered to this pharmacy. As such, I didn't receive a SMS when the prescription arrived. My 1st contact from them was 3 weeks later, when an employee checked the list. It was an generic message, with no deadline or anything. I turn up a week later to pick up the prescription to be told that it had been returned, as it had been in the oharmacy for 28 days. The system is rubbish (no automatic SMS if you are not registered in their system, no communicated deadline to pick up), but the employees are certainly doing their best. 1 out 5 for the system, 5 out 5 for the pharmacist who explained the situation calmly to me while I was frustrated.
