Yorkshire Eyewear’s optometrist Garrey Lee has been writing and performing his poems for many years. It was a way to be notice. ‘Not what you say but how you say it’ When going to many business networking groups and not wanting to be lost in the crowd, Garrey performed his poetry to promote his business as The Poetic Optician called Garrey Lee. Garrey founder and chairman of the Goole & Howdenshire Business Excellence Awards would open the awards with a speech in poetry to be informative and entertaining. In 2018 Great Yorkshire Radio asked Garrey to come on board to perform on his own weekly poetry slot. Be noticed in a positive way, be different and stand out from the crowd.
