  I am writing to express my serious concerns regarding the standard of service at Tesco Pharmacy in Bulwell, Nottingham. My recent experiences have consistently demonstrated a lack of professionalism, poor communication, and an absence of customer-focused care. Each time I attend the pharmacy to collect a prescription for my elderly mother, who is in her late nineties, the medication is not ready—despite following the collection instructions provided by her GP. When raising this issue, I have been told that although doctors advise patients to collect prescriptions the next day, the pharmacy requires up to 48 hours to process them. This discrepancy leaves vulnerable patients without essential medication and causes unnecessary distress. The attitude of some staff members often feels dismissive, as though customers are an inconvenience rather than individuals seeking important medical support. There is little sense of empathy or urgency, even when the situation clearly involves pain or discomfort for the patient. Communication is minimal, and on several occasions I have been left waiting without acknowledgement while staff wait for the pharmacist to authorise medication, despite being visibly present. Although seating is provided near the counter for busy periods, the manner in which concerns are handled—often with abrupt or unhelpful responses—creates an environment where customers feel undervalued and ignored. It is disheartening to experience this repeatedly, especially when caring for an elderly parent who relies on timely access to medication. Overall, the service at this pharmacy does not reflect the standards expected from a healthcare provider, and I hope these issues can be addressed to ensure a more respectful, efficient, and compassionate experience for all customers.

  Every time we go to the Tesco pharmacy bulwell your always waiting for ages, we gone again today they said we don't serve till 11 am on Sundays, which is fair enough, it's now 11.15 am and now they are saying they can't serve us because the pharmacist hasn't arrived, the service is really bad ,everyone is talking about it how bad it is ,I'm moving elsewhere because it's terrible

  Poor they don’t answer the phone when you ring would save a lot of time if you could see if your prescription is ready instead of getting there waiting 20 30 minutes 🤷🏼‍♂️

  Extremely poor service and their phone lines have been engaged for over 5 hours think they've taken the phone off tje hook so they don't have to do their job
