  Came to Mansfield 16 months ago. I would like to commend the staff in the Jubilee Tesco pharmacy. Had a few queries and if they couldn't solve always suggested another route. Thanks to all in the team. Five star service.

  Went in after a DOCTOR (a medically trained professional who’s studied for 7+ years on a full time degree and had 9 years in Emergency Care and 12 years in General Practice ) told me that I needed an over the counter medication. However the pharmacist wouldn’t give me the over the counter medication unless I had a prescription (it was Good Friday so appointments again to see a Doctor wouldn’t be to the Tuesday). They wouldn’t listen, look at the e-Mail medical notes on my phone that were sent and were generally just uninterested. All I got was some muttering and a shrug of the shoulders, and a walk away leaving me there unable to comprehend why I couldn’t get something that is made readily available without prescription to treat conditions without having to book yet another GP appointment (inconveniencing me having to attend another GP appointment and costing the NHS both an appointment for someone who needs it and also the cost involved!). No wonder our NHS is broken! I’d totally avoid and drive 2 minutes away to ASDA Pharmacy who were accommodating and gave me the medication needed, and who also couldn’t believe how the pharmacist had behaved. They actually recommend I go back and take his registration number and complain (which I now plan to do). They were great, and gave me lots of advice! Utterly appalling service without interest, care, or compassion. 100% avoid.

  Arrived for an appointment early that I had booked online the day before due to a suspected sinus infection . (Something that is now encouraged to seek help for at a pharmacy instead of GP or hospital) only for them to have no idea I was coming and made me feel like I was an absolute inconvenience. Lady at the desk asked me several times quite loudly in front of other customers what I was there for , and if the pharmacist knew I was attending . I repeated I had made an appointment the day before and it was to discuss my sinuses . She was incredibly unwelcoming and sharp and in my opinion shouldn’t be asking people to detail their problem in front of several other customers , especially when I’ve made an appointment to see a pharmacist privately . Pharmacist reiterated they werent aware I was coming as they don’t check their diary and don’t know about any appointments 👌🏻 didn’t receive any level of care or politeness from anyone . Waste of time and next time I won’t bother .
