  Appalling attitude from staff, refusing to accommodate customers, rude and unfriendly. Found the whole experience disrespectful First week there I was allowed to swap Nutella on the protein pancakes for Greek yogurt, then Denver got funny with me and refused to serve me it the second week to which I spoke to the manager Bev, who then told me I could swap the compote for fruit but not the Nutella, to which then I did and had been served that all last week and yesterday, to then again today, point blankly being refused service by Denver when asking for it to which when I again spoke to Bev she tried to tell me that she told me that it couldn’t be swapped. Which was absolutely rubbish and think it’s the whole situation is ludicrous. It’s on the menu there should be no issue swapping something out that I don’t eat for something I can. Again, I found the staff completely disrespectful and wrong especially when lying about what they had said previously. I will add I’ve worked at numerous David Lloyd sites and always order the same, this is the only place that seemed to have a problem with it.

  Facilities are okay, and swimming availability for adults is limited sometimes. I wish whoever took my stuff had returned it right away to the front desk (my personal head towel, a gift from my mother) I left in the bathroom for like mins, which I came back for; instead of stealing it. Checked twice with front desk and once with cleaner, it completely disappeared. Nothing else was said to me regarding this by the lady at the desk who seem more preoccupied in chatting to to her coworker.

  I’m really enjoying being a member at David Lloyd Neath. The staff are friendly and create a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere from the moment you walk in. The gym is well laid out, clean, and easy to navigate, and the pool area is one of the highlights — especially the outdoor pool when the suns out. The range of classes are excellent, and the instructors are professional, fun, and knowledgeable. The food is great too, and the matchas are a personal favourite. I’m also looking forward to the upcoming refit, particularly the new hub for remote workers. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to train, unwind, and spend time.

  I’ve recently joined David Lloyd Clubs and I’m really impressed so far. The staff are very friendly and helpful, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere every time I visit. It’s a lovely place to sit and enjoy a coffee or lunch, and my children absolutely love both the indoor and outdoor pools, as well as the tennis and football courts. There’s a great variety of classes to choose from, and the gym itself is excellent. I’m also really looking forward to seeing the new renovated version when it’s complete. A special mention to Amy, who has been amazing—always smiling, happy to help, and on hand with advice and answers to any questions I’ve had. It really makes a difference!

  The door to the adult section is usually closed but I assume it was open today due to the heat - understandable. I was initially grateful that the General Manager took the time to inform me and my friends that our children had wandered in to the area, something I’d be stunned to find hadn’t happened before. I returned to the table to find her still standing over my husband, lecturing him about parenting, randomly informing him of £4m pounds worth of investment and all the opportunities this will bring, flippantly asking him if he was stealing the menus and challenging him on another matter, which had nothing to do with the safety and/or direct supervision of our child. I am deeply disappointed with her attitude and tone. Furthermore, I’m upset she had a complete disregard for our experience at the club today (which should be paramount) and didn’t care if she placed a dampener on it just to have her say (and in an odd way, take the opportunity to have a dig at him and look down on us). Her interaction with us was, in simple terms, mean-spirited and unprofessional. As new platinum members, I expected so much better from a person in her position. If her intention was to make us feel unwelcome, she succeeded but it definitely leaves a bad taste in my mouth, having paid to be there in the first place. I’d like to make it clear, her conduct is not representative of the people we have engaged with to date and quite frankly I think she let herself and her team down in the moment. Once again, if the matter had been solely about my child, this complaint would not be happening but she chose to take the conversation somewhere else and it was both baffling and completely unacceptable.
