Would not recommend using this branch. They don't appear to have a clue what they're doing, and the prescription they produced was completely wrong. If you want to keep your existing frames, that aren't theirs, they will basically ignore you as they don't put new lenses in anything other than frames you purchase with them, unlike other opticians. The trainee didn't know what 'photosensitive' meant. Lights were too bright. Optician didn't offer to lower the lights so I ended up with a nasty migraine, followed by a week of headaches and keratitis. I ended up going elsewhere, where a thorough exam was conducted, referral to a specialist, and a totally different prescription was given.

Everyone at this branch was lovely, efficient and helpful. It was a very well explained process and all of my questions were answered. I felt very safe and comfortable there.

excellent service from Rachel helping to pick and choose specs. Beeston branch does not have a customer toilet so had to go out of shop to find one, bearing in mind that I spent over £1000 in Specsavers that day. Saw a lot of glasses that needed to be put out, this should be done regularly so customers have more choice. when my husband and I went to collect glasses we had terrible service from Abbey, I spoke to the manager about this when we left. I will have to make another journey to the shop to get my glasses adjusted as the were not fitted correctly by Abbey. I was told I had 3 months to go back with any problems and unfortunately I will have to

Staff were very friendly, explained everything well. No pressure from staff to make specific purchases or pushing towards specific frames. Explained and showed why they were only recommending the mid level thinning when if left to my own devices I'd probably have gone for the highest level. The store itself was well laid out. Within moments of arriving I was already being taken for the pre-tests which was nice to see, no needless waiting around.
