Good for waiting for kids to come out of classes as coffee etc. available, plenty of books to read and adequate seating. Climbing walls for the kids and plenty of toilets and lifts.

Swimming lessons are at awful pace. 1 year for single stage. It took 1 year to my son to get to stage 4. Too many kids at 1 time. Instructors pay no attention at all. Many weeks to improve the percentage by 1%. Really not happy. Too much money for each stage.

It’s such a shame as this is a brilliant leisure centre with a really good soft play but their website and booking system is absolutely shocking. I’ve tried countless times to book the soft play and for some reason their website never accepts my card, today for some reason despite not accepting my card, it said under my bookings that I was booked in for a soft play session and then it just vanished despite having a booking reference number. I can’t get through to anyone on the phone and when I try to rebook the soft play it’s now fully booked so I’ve given up. I think they really need a smarter website, it’s absolutely hopeless.

Great facility for the community and on the whole it is well kept and clean but minor repairs are usually left un addressed and the reception staff are often not as helpful as they could be and from my own experience come across a bit flat and disinterested when you ask them for anything more than the most basic information.
My biggest issue with the place though is the operator Places Leisure and there horrendous communication. All sites seemingly use one switchboard/call centre for calls. So if you have a need to call them you will have to spend a great deal of time navigating a really bad automated system and when you do finally get to speak to a person they are as easily flummoxed by your query as the staff at the reception desk.
So in summary the facility is there to be used and it is decent but don't expect too much as customers aren't really valued and the overall experience can leave you frustrated.
