  Amazing workers at vision Hempstead valley especially kaz the optician and Charlotte at the front of house. I’m a nervous patient they made me feel very welcome and explained everything and what it does. they went above and beyond and addressed all my problems and questions that I had I would definitely recommend them.

  Had to wait to be.seen to book in..Some staff standing talking..I was immediately seen to do pre assessments , and wasn't long after was taken in for have my eyes tested. WOW what can I say about the opticatist she was just amazing, friendly , explained everything that she did and why , made you feel comfortable. Even asked if I had anyone else having an eye test after me , which I did checked to see if she had him on list which she and I was allowed to stay in room while he had his done.. Afterwards we browses for new frames , hubby was really quick as still do the same frames he ha last time. Unfortunately I really struggled again this year for frames as I have a small face and these new larger frames don't suit me. Although there are lots of frames to choose from , bit harder any smaller ones that have hinged arms All the staff were sitting there just chatting to different colleague. The colleague that had our paperwork didn't come over to ask if I needed any help. It got to the point that it was stressful for me as lack of frames that suited me , so we decided we would look another day. My husband approached the lady and she was rude , with her replies . Eg come back when you have a lot more time to look not just before they close for example. When we go back to purchase our frames will differently won't be going to her as she was very unhelpful. We have used vision express for many years and this store many times . To be honest we might even consider looking somewhere else for frames , after rude attitude.xx 3 Star ⭐ is for how we were treated before and after our eye test. It would of been 5+ ⭐ as our eye test was the best we have had .

  Great service as usual, lovely staff, very helpful! And thw eye care plan is the best addition to services ❤️ The lady who did my pre screening ive met before and shes lovely!

  It was a nice experience going to vision express. Staff was excellent with care and communications also the optician was very accurate and precise about the eye test. Only one improvement needs to give a large selection of frames to the NHS patients also choice of lenses and anti glare coating that Asda gives to all their customers in the package without extra charges.

  Booked appointment for eye test on 30th aug had eye test done and was told needed new glasses,chose a pair of sunglasses and bifocals,I used there payment plan and paid first payment I was told they would be 10 days, after 10 days they arrived when I went to pick up they were no good they were the wreck by lenses. I was told I had to have a retest a further week later due to incorrect eye examination the first time when I had retest done I was told the first prescription was wrong so I would have to wait another 2 weeks for glasses. When I phoned to see if glasses were in I was told it would be a further 11 days. I would have paid 3 times before even receiving my glasses. I cannot understand how a big company can employ such incompetence. Should have gone to specsavers
