I have been to Tesco pharmacy at 8:20 pm for UTI but they refused to give the medicine as they were about to close at 9 p.m. I requested several times.lts very bad and not the proper way to treat someone who approaches a pharmacist out of pain.

Very happy to have been able to get a prescription filled there. My pharmacist in Canada sent me a prescription. I was able to get it filled it cost 20 pounds. It wasn't an issue, I was just glad that i was able to get it.

The pharmacy is excellent and well connected to the NHS. The staff are highly competent, friendly, and approachable. Kudos to them for their great work.
I went to speak to a pharmacist to ask advice about a rash I suspected was shingles, as it was the weekend and no GP practice was open. The, who I assume was a pharmacist, took me to the consultation room and rolled a glass over it, to check if it would fade. She told me it wasn't shingles as the rash faded, which "isn't typical for shingles, normally it wouldn't fade". A family member later informed me that you do that kind of test for meningitis, not shingles. Are these pharmacists even trained? I ended up contacting 111 who told me that it was in fact shingles that I had, so as you can imagine her rolling a glass over it for no logical reason whatsoever was very painful. It's not like I expected her to diagnose me but she clearly didn't have a clue what she was talking about. Overall, completely useless and I question the knowledge of the people working there.

I went in to find an icepack. The lady said they didn't have any. But she got the pharmacist and he was brilliant! In informed us to use deep heat on muscle injury and when to put it on and explanations of why. He was clear, informative, friendly and compassionate. Very impressed!
