Since my eye sight is really bad my glasses were quite expensive but Sufia was very transparent, helpful and kind. She let me know about student discount and explained the different levels of thinning carefully and clearly. Sufia is a great employee and I hope she will still be working there when I need a new pair!

I'd convinced my partner to come and get her eyes checked, as I'd had great experiences at another branch over the years but it was my first time attending this one. The staff confused my partner (who was very anxious and autistic, already stressed out by a busy shopping centre, and only a few years older than me), for my mother, which she was very upset by. They then apparently laughed at her when she wanted to get her glasses reglazed as she was low income. They just seemed to be lacking in any form of sensitivity. My experience was fine, not brilliant, and I'm glad to have moved to another branch. My experience at other VE branches has been brilliant by comparison, and the staff always kind and sensitive.
