  Just wanted to leave a massive review for Lisa on front of house. Honestly, she is the absolute peak of customer service. Even the other week when it was hitting 40°C heat and everyone was completely drained, she was still bringing the best energy and making everyone feel welcome. ​She always goes massively out of her way to look after people, and she handles a busy desk effortlessly. Virgin Active Repton Park is lucky to have her on the team and management need to make sure she’s looked after because she’s a proper asset to the club and the company. 10/10 service!!

  Enjoying my membership. A special mention to reception, Lisa and Ellie especially. These girls are always so friendly and helpful, Greet you with huge smiles just what you want to see after a days work. A credit to you Virgin look after these girls.

  ⭐ 1 Star I am very disappointed with my experience at Virgin Active Chigwell. When I visited the club on 17 July 2025 to ask about membership options, I was told by a member of staff that if I signed a 12-month contract, I would receive one month free. Based on this information, I joined the gym. Recently, when I contacted the club to arrange the end of my membership after the 12 months agreed in my contract, I was informed that the “free month” actually extends the contract, meaning my membership will not end until August. In reality, this makes the contract 13 months, not 12 months as I was originally led to believe. I feel that the information given to me when I joined was misleading. If the terms had been explained clearly from the beginning, I would have been able to make an informed decision. This experience has left me feeling disappointed and frustrated. Good customer service should be based on transparency and honesty, and unfortunately that has not been my experience. I would have given 0 stars if that were possible.

  Repton Park is one of the most atmospheric places to unwind in London. Set inside the former Victorian Claybury Hospital, the restoration stays true to the original architecture. Vaulted ceilings, old stonework & an 18m pool inside the former chapel. The sauna feels like an old confession room, while the jacuzzi has the feel of being inside a giant holy water font waiting to be baptised. Plenty of room in the weights area too, with squat racks, bikes & running machines up on the mezzanine. Pete gave us a detailed tour, took time to walk us through everything & made the whole place easy to picture as part of our routine. We signed up immediately. Lisa at the front desk always gives a warm welcome. Thanks Guys!
