  waste of time, useless unhelpful staff, unwilling to do basic minor adjustments or fix screws or anything , as they told me they just ask everyone to go to ruislip, ruislip did an amazing job. avoid the uxbridge and harrow stores at all costs, wont even tighten or adjust glasses they sold or problem solve any issues

  I hate that this is my local branch - I almost always have some sort of issue with the service. 😢 This time, I placed an order for contact lenses over the phone. I paid. Great. I asked for receipt (which I thought was a normal request) and the guy on the phone laughed and said it wasn't possible and said what did i expect him to do? I said maybe email me so I had a proof of purchase (incase they don't arrive or have an issue) to which he said he couldn't. I said i wanted a proof of transaction and he said he'd email me an invoice. I'm still waiting, two days later. Disgraceful service.

  The only reason I give them 3 is the actual eye test was fine. Nothing extra ordinary but nothing to complain about. My eyes have a very strong varifocal and she started to tell me that they do a monthly plan for around £15-20 a month, for 2 pairs. So I went to pick my glasses and the woman that took over I can only call a downright shister. She knew my budget and started with the monthly plan idea. After having already discussed it. I thought was quite reasonable until she said £39 for 2 years! Double the price already given. She huffed and rolled her eyes when I told her that her calculations were incorrect, as I had already done the math on both pairs. My husband went to look at the steam too as I pointed out that one of them she had overpriced dramatically. She snatched the screen around rolled her eyes again and tutted. I told her at this point, that I think I will shop around. She evidently did not like that either as her fave literally gave off subtitles angry vibes. She played around and the price changed on the screen. I told her to pass me my prescription as I had to repeat 3 times I want to Shop around. She shoved the paper at me and I left. I then came home and purchased 4 pairs of designer frames, thinning lenses two reactor light and two blue light varifocals for less than what she wanted to charge me for two! Complete rip Off! This showed me exactly how much they mark up for profit. I won’t be going back

  I had a great experience with Suzanne at Vision Express in Uxbridge. She was extremely helpful and professional throughout the pre-assessment part of my eye test, clearly explaining any changes to my prescription and making sure I understood what was recommended. She was very knowledgeable and gave me a clear breakdown of what I required and what would be best suited to me, which made the whole process straightforward and reassuring. Suzanne was also fantastic when I returned to collect my new glasses. She took the time to make all the necessary adjustments to ensure they fitted correctly and were comfortable, rather than simply handing them over and sending me on my way. Excellent customer service from start to finish. Suzanne is a real credit to the Uxbridge Vision Express team and I would highly recommend her.

  Shocking! The appointment was cancelled once with under 24 hours notice then given a second appointment a week later only to be told that I missed my appointment! They never answered the phone ALL WEEK so I could confirm as they had sent me a text confirming the appointment with a time which I didn’t agree with! Optician didn’t really listen to me when discussing my increase in prescription and instead gave me trial lenses which are much worse and I can’t see long distance! AVOID at all costs
