Absolutely not joking when I say this store is horrible. I never leave reviews for anything but I just had to comment. Customer service was atrocious. Completely cold and unwelcoming staff. Don't even reply to a hello. Don't get me wrong, there was maybe 2 staff members that were great but the rest absolutely outweigh the positive. You would think I would be a middle-aged Karen writing this review but Im a teenager but because I was so disappointed by my last check up, I had to leave a review. Its like they were completely lost the whole time and had no idea what they were doing. They tried to charge me double the price and when I pointed this out they realized they made a mistake. What if I didnt know any better? I had to ask so many questions to the eye doctors because they didnt tell u basic info theyre meant to tell you at an appointment. Even the staff were being rude with each other and I suspect there must be some beef between the workers. I understand they might have quite a lot of customers per day but you can tell they are trying to get rid of you as fast as possible. They repeatedly ask for your name when you just told them like 2 mins ago. Just a very unprofessional and unwelcomong place. Im definitely going to a new spot from now on.

I attended an eye test appointment today and ended up waiting for 1 hour and 20 minutes without being seen. I appreciate that the staff were busy, and I understand that delays can happen. However, what I found unacceptable was that during the entire wait, nobody came over to explain the delay, provide an update, or check whether I was willing to continue waiting. After more than an hour had passed, I approached the front desk and explained that I had been waiting for over an hour without seeing anyone and that I felt I might as well leave. The staff member simply replied, “OK, sorry about that,” and immediately returned to what he was doing. There was no attempt to explain the situation, apologise properly, or offer any solution. In my view, good customer care involves keeping customers informed, especially when significant delays occur. While I understand that busy periods are unavoidable, a lack of communication and a dismissive response when concerns are raised falls well below the standard of service I would expect. I would appreciate your comments on this matter and how you intend to improve communication with customers experiencing long waits in the future.

On the day I went to Specsavers, I had a great experience with the lady who tested my vision, the other staff members, and with Mr Roman. In particular, with Mr Amit, who took his time to help me with new frames, and made me feel at home. In the store, there was a calm, positive atmosphere, and that made me feel well. And that's why I gave a high score.

Very slow service. Waited 15 minutes when there was no one else there just to collect a contact lens order that was already prepared and bagged. The guy went upstairs, spent 15 minutes came down with nothing only to find that the order was in a cabinet behind the front desk. I even had to point out the order as he couldn't locate it. No apologies, nothing.
