Very disappointing experience. I paid for two hours of parking outside the Boots Opticians, but the appointment took significantly longer than it should have because the staff appeared to be inexperienced and still learning the system.
As a result of the delays and inefficiency, I ended up exceeding my two-hour parking limit and received a parking ticket. I appreciate that parking restrictions are not the responsibility of the opticians, but it is extremely frustrating to be penalised financially because an appointment was unnecessarily prolonged by staff who were not trained in using the systems.
I would expect a business to ensure staff are adequately trained before allowing them to conduct appointments independently, particularly when delays can have consequences for customers.

I was seen at the Croydon London road branch by a lovely friendly lady by the name of Laura, Laura made me feel at ease, as you don’t know what they are going to find, so assuring, did not feel rushed, she explained things to me, examined my ears, gave me info to take to my doctors, and sound advise. It was such a pleasure to meet her, I hope everyone experience staff like Laura a credit to your company Boots, thank you Laura.

I went to my appointment and it had changed to another day, not sure what happened there so I looked at the glasses for myself and child . It was a waste of time because most of the £40 glasses in the display were £80 to £130 pounds. So you will have to coff up the money if you are on benefit because they have very little stock in the lower range price.
